Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina and Peru won the first medals in the Surfing event of the South American Beach Games inaugural edition. The Open men and Women division were defined.

Gold- Alejo Muniz (BRA)
Silver- Rafael Pereira (VEN)
Bronze- Leandro Usuna (ARG)
